The exhibition aims to provide a dedicated platform for young artists from Milan’s Brera Academy of Fine Arts, introducing the city to the artistic potential of a new generation while highlighting their enthusiasm and already mature creative abilities.

Held at the historic Palazzo Meravigli, the exhibition brings together more than 80 students from the Brera Academy of Fine Arts, presenting over 200 works. The participating artists explore a wide range of artistic media and forms of expression, including painting, sculpture, video, photography, and installation.

As art critic Alberto Mattia Martini states in his introductory essay for the exhibition:

“[…] In the heart of Milan, within the historic Palazzo Meravigli, and subsequently in the more bucolic setting of the Naviglio Martesana, art enters into dialogue and interacts with its surroundings, creating an evocative dimension mirabilis. This experience conveys a profound sense of enchantment to the viewer, engaging them and evoking a remarkable magnetic sense of wonder.

The students of the Brera Academy of Fine Arts have embraced a broad and diverse range of artistic languages and expressive media, from the most traditional to the most innovative, also incorporating new technologies in keeping with the codes and languages of our time.

[…] Together, the exhibited works create a collective vision that can be understood as an exploration beginning with the history of world events and collective memory, before moving towards the ‘myth’ of humanity and, on a more intimate and sensitive level, towards those forms of remembrance that belong to each individual’s personal experience.

This exhibition seeks to function as a kind of permanent laboratory for students, an approach already developed through previous exhibition experiences, grounded in contemporary artistic practice, research, imagination, dialogue, and interdisciplinarity.”

The emerging artists were selected and recommended by professors from the various departments of the Brera Academy of Fine Arts.
